She is a child neurologist and very experienced in dyslexia, autism and epilepsy.

She was born in Hatay in 1974. After completing her high school education, she graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1997 and obtained the title of Medical Doctor. She specialized in Child Health and Diseases between 1997 and 2002 at Istanbul Bakırköy Women's and Children's Hospital, becoming a Specialist in Child Health and Diseases.

From 2002 to 2004, as a Specialist in Child Health and Diseases, she continued her work in the Child Neurology unit at the same hospital. From 2004 to 2007, she pursued her subspecialty in Child Neurology at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine.

Doç. Dr. Canan KOCAMAN fulfilled her compulsory service obligation at Diyarbakır Children's Hospital from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, she briefly worked at Zeynep Kamil Education and Research Hospital, and from 2010 to 2013, she worked at Erdem Hospital. Between 2010 and 2014, she served as a member of the academic council and a neurological medical consultant at the Turkish Spastic Children Foundation, actively contributing to the establishment and development of the early intervention unit and participating in the cerebral palsy assessment council.

Since 2013, Doç. Dr. Canan KOCAMAN has been providing services at her private clinic in Ataşehir, along with a psychologist and an EEG technician in her team. They continue to work successfully in the fields of neurological examination for children aged 0-18, electroencephalography (EEG) recording and evaluation, developmental tests, and individual and family therapies related to pediatric neurology issues.

Furthermore, she is a member of the Turkish Society of Child Neurology, Turkish Medical Association, Turkish Pediatric Society, European Pediatric Neurology Society, Turkish Spastic Children Foundation, and Turkish Sleep Medicine Association.
